I’m Sarah Krueger from Waupaca, Wisconsin, a candidate for KCUSA Vice President. My husband, Chuck Brendel, and I have two Kooikers, Duncan, age 5 and Gibson, 2 years old.

Duncan (Ambermoon’s Roller Soaker) is smart, athletic, loyal, and loving. He has earned his AKC RA, BN, CD, CA, OA, NAJ, RATI, and CGC titles, his UKC Conformation Championship, and UAGI, URO2 and CA titles. Adopting him has brought a whole new set of experiences for me. I had to learn how to show him in the Conformation ring, and despite my lack of handling skills, he became a UKC Champion in 2011 after only three days of competition.

Gibson (Oorbellen Mel, a Finnish import) has followed in Duncan’s pawprints. He already has his AKC BN, RA, NA, NAJ, CA, RATN, and CGC titles as well as his UKC Conformation Championship and UAGI, URO2, CA, and RATN titles. I strongly believe that one of the best ways to introduce people to this wonderful breed is to participate in many classes and performance events.

I’m a retired high school art teacher and yearbook advisor, so my interests lie in creating artwork, taking photographs, and doing graphic design. I do the Sidra Siberian website for friends of mine. Duncan has a Facebook page and I enjoy communicating with his “friends” and publicizing Kooiker activities in the US. I also work on the club’s Facebook page. I have created the Kooiker Kalendar and notecards as money-making projects. I helped with the brochure and coloring pages, created the informational postcards and banners for Meet The Breeds events, and designed the 2014 Specialty and 2015 Houston logos.

I am willing to work hard to promote the breed and KCUSA. Thank you for considering me for the position of KCUSA Vice President.
